The Concept of Repentance (Tawbah) in Islam

Repentance (tawbah) is one of the most important acts of worship in Islam. Allah loves those who repent and turn to Him.

Conditions of Sincere Repentance

1. Stopping the sin immediately
2. Regretting having committed the sin
3. Resolving never to return to it
4. If the sin involved the rights of others, restoring those rights

The door of repentance is always open, and Allah's mercy encompasses all things. No matter how great the sin, sincere repentance can erase it.
